Location : Remote – LATAM

Schedule : Full-time (40 hours / week) – Flexible within US time zones

Start Date : ASAP

Contract : 6 months, with possible extension or conversion

Languages : Conversational English

About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Test Automation Engineer to join a global engineering team focused on developing and executing automated testing solutions for large-scale cloud-based services and APIs .

You will design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks, generate test data, and ensure high-quality software delivery across distributed cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated tests using Go (Golang) and related testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test plans and ensure full test coverage.
  • Execute and monitor automated tests to validate APIs, cloud services, and system integrations.
  • Support occasional manual testing when validating complex cloud scenarios.
  • Create and maintain synthetic data for automated and UI test environments.
  • Identify and close test coverage gaps across multiple microservices.
  • Migrate existing automated tests to updated frameworks (e.g., Pigeon V2 or similar).
  • Ensure proper documentation, alerting, and monitoring are in place for all test processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Test Automation or SDET roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) for writing automated tests.
  • 3+ years of experience testing cloud-based systems or APIs .
  • Proven experience with synthetic data generation, schema validation, and data modeling .
  • Solid understanding of cloud testing frameworks and distributed environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English .
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Playwright or similar UI testing tools.
  • Experience working with multi-tenant cloud platforms .
  • Prior exposure to cybersecurity or large-scale SaaS environments .
