Global retail company is looking for a Financial Controller.
Responsible for supervising and managing all financial aspects of the company, becoming the link between general management and the finance department, for short- and long-term planning, anticipating risks and opportunities that may impact the company and ensuring compliance with economic objectives and the sustainability of the business.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The main responsibilities of a financial controller include :
1.Design and supervision of the business budget
- Prepare detailed annual and quarterly budgets by area, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
- Monitor financial results compared to budgets and propose adjustments when necessary.
2. Financial analysis and reporting
Analyze financial statements to assess profitability and operational efficiency.Generate detailed and accurate reports for senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.3.Permanent financial control
Monitor cash flows, balance sheets, incomes and expenses, ensuring the company's economic stability.Detect deviations from financial objectives and take corrective actions in a timely manner.4.Compliance & regulations
Ensure that the company complies with current accounting, tax, and legal regulations.Prepare internal and external audits, ensuring transparency in financial processes5.Financial risk management
Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Implement policies that ensure the sustainability of the business in the face of economic crises.6.Optimization of resources and processes
Detect inefficiencies in financial resource management and propose improvements.Implement technological tools to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.7.Annual budget control
Review and adjust budgets by area.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT'S
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.8 years of experience in a similar role.English : Advanced (C1).Experience in general P&L management and financial analysis.Expertise in supervising accounting operations at a general level : accounting closures.Experience in managing budgets for various areas of the company.Proficiency in consolidating financial statements, as well as in presenting reports to organizational executives.Experience in audit processes and creation / documentation of internal control processes.Proficiency in SAP (or any similar ERP / platform).A Controller must possess a range of both technical and interpersonal skills.
