Overview

Jarvio is the agentic workflow automation platform powering eCommerce brands. Think Cursor meets N8N, custom fit to the data-heavy eCommerce industry. We're building out our Mexico City hub and you will be on site as one of our founding engineers.

As a Founding Design Engineer at Jarvio, you’ll own the craft of making complex automation powerful yet intuitive. You’ll design and build the drag-and-drop workflow builder, craft agentic frontends that adapt to customer needs, and rethink how SaaS products are structured - moving away from endless menus and screens towards a more fluid, intelligent interface. You’ll also help shape our agentic chat experience, where users interact naturally with their data and workflows.

We’re building the system of intelligence for eCommerce brands - starting with Amazon. Our platform combines AI, automation, and workflows to help brands grow faster without scaling headcount.

This is a rare opportunity to join as a founding engineer, shape the entire user experience, and redefine how thousands of brands interact with automation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship React / TypeScript features across the platform.
  • Design and implement the drag-and-drop workflow builder for creating unlimited automation flows.
  • Develop agentic frontends that adapt to customer needs, with custom components for different use cases.
  • Help build the agentic chat interface, ensuring a seamless blend between conversational AI and structured workflows.
  • Implement polished UI patterns : optimistic updates, skeleton states, error handling, and performance-first design.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers on API contracts and system design.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering.
  • Strong expertise in React and modern state / data-fetching patterns (React Query, Zustand, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of UX and product design - able to translate complex workflows into intuitive experiences.
  • Experience building interactive interfaces (e.g. workflow canvases, drag-and-drop builders, or no-code tools).
  • Startup-ready : comfortable owning features end-to-end and working in fast-moving environments.
