Manager, Content Merchandising

The Manager Merchandising will play a pivotal role in shaping how sports fans from casual viewers to diehard UFC followers experience live and on demand content on Client This position will sit at the intersection of Sports UFC and teams ensuring our sports offerings are built to deliver unforgettable fan first experiencesThe right candidate is both a sports enthusiast and a technical product minded operator able to bridge data workflows and creative curation to bring sports content to life in a way that drives engagement and growthResponsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for UFC and sports experiences on Client leading workflow strategy that enhances fan engagement

Represent Sports and UFC needs in product planning ensuring our sports catalog live events highlights and related features deliver on both immediate goals and long term fan retention

Design train and document workflows that support sports content curation communicating technical processes for both internal and global production teams

Work alongside Programming and content delivery teams to ensure metadata is robust and flowing into our internal tools and systems

Analyze large sets of sports data live scores fight stats schedules and archives to curate experiences that support discovery and personalization

Pitch thematic playlist ideas that highlight key moments in recent and archival UFC history to curate short form experience

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues impacting sports content escalating as needed

Help contribute to feature development for sports products from ideation through launch ensuring that fan journeys are smooth and intuitive

Build strong partnerships with global teams across Curation Machine Learning Product Development and stakeholdersQualifications

Comfortable troubleshooting, multitasking and working under tight deadlines tied to live sports events

Proven experience in product operations content curation or related fields with a focus on digital sports experiences

Strong technical fluency with meta data driven workflows and product development cycles

A deep passion for sports especially UFC with an understanding of what drives engagement for both casual viewers and superfans

Skilled communicator capable of translating complex workflows into clear guidance for production teams

Strong leadership and mentorship skills
