Must Haves

  • Minimum 5 years experience designing & writing Web and API automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium and C#.
  • Strong skills in API testing, including experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger UI, or similar
  • Experience testing within a DevOps, cloud-native environment. Building automated testing in a deployment pipeline.
  • Experience in integration testing in a DevOps pipeline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging skills with attention to detail
  • Understanding of unit test frameworks and testing methodologies
  • Understanding of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL systems
  • Strong experience working in microservices environments and testing distributed systems
  • Experience working with container technologies such as Docker
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and in a team to solve problems
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle methodology, preferably within an agile Scrum environment
  • Experience with code review and ensuring code quality and maintainability in automation codebases
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality initiatives and automation best practices across development teams

Technologies you are familiar with

  • Microsoft C# and .NET Core
  • Understanding and familiar with Azure pipelines where Automation would be run. Azure DevOps pipelines and releases, Azure App Services
  • Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
  • Soft skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership mentality
  • Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile testing automation
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP with Azure preferred)
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and multi-tenancy concepts
  • Experience working on cloud native platforms or with cloud native tools such as Kubernetes
  • Experience testing event-driven systems and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
  • Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting (e.g., Elastic + Kibana, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Experience with performance / load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, K6, Artillery)
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers in test automation techniques and strategies
