Senior QA Automation Engineer - Android

Open Video project focused on developing an OTT platform for one of the largest North American TV providers. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to ensure software quality through automated testing. You will create, maintain, and execute automated test cases, identify and report bugs, and verify fixes to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for Android platforms.
  • Identify, report, and verify defects and fixes to ensure software quality and a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams in a fast-paced environment to improve product quality.

Mandatory Skills Description :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and report findings effectively.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and follow-up abilities to manage tasks effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Android platforms, ensuring functionality and performance.
  • Proficiency with version control and CI / CD tools, including Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
  • Development experience with Java and test automation frameworks, including Appium, Selenium, and Webdriver.io.
  • Knowledge and experience with essential debugging tools, such as Android Studio, Charles Proxy, and ADB logcat.
  • Experience with Spring Boot.
