Finding the Right Candidate for Powertrain Senior Designer / CAD Designer

Overview

  • The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced designer to join their Powertrain Design Services group as a Powertrain Senior Designer.

Responsibilities

  • This position requires performing packaging, concept, design, layout and checking related assemblies and components.

    • Requirements

  • Applicants should have minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in design with extensive use of NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter.
  • A strong written and oral communication skillset is necessary to lead design and packaging meetings.
  • Strong organization, planning and data management skills are also required.
  • PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Advanced English Level are necessary qualifications.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technology-related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in designing complex castings and precision machined components would be beneficial.
  • Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks is essential.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes is also desirable.
