Descripción del trabajoA degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Master´s degree or CPA is preferred. English advanced 10 years of experience in a financial accounting and reporting role, R2R, General Ledger, etc. Most recent role in a managerial position. Experience with regional roles giving service to countries as US, Canada its a plus. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards under IFRS, SOX Control and local regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems as SAP and Excel. Experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry in a SSC is an advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Descripción
- Regional Scope SSC for USA, Canada, Mexico, Ireland
- Experience of statutory financial reporting, under IFRS and local GAAPs.
- Experience of Cash Management within in a complex international and multi-currency environment
- Proven experience leading teams in a Shared Service or multinational environment.
- Supervise and mentor a team of general ledger specialists
- Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, SOX.
