We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team and provide technical expertise in maintaining and improving software systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring system reliability and delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities

  • Resolve production incidents, service requests, and tasks to ensure system functionality and reliability
  • Provide on-call support during US CST business hours, responding to incidents within established SLAs
  • Perform minor enhancements, technical upgrades, and maintenance tasks as required
  • Fix defects and improve back-end microservices and REST APIs to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and execute unit tests for new code and changes to guarantee software quality
  • Manage the development-to-deployment lifecycle, including change initiation and approvals
  • Follow best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and other standard methodologies
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings, handovers, and collaboration sessions to ensure team alignment
  • Mentor developers and collaborate with peers to share knowledge and improve team efficiency
  • Provide offshore support by resolving blockers, sharing information, and guiding prioritizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework for software development
  • Knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture for building scalable systems
  • Experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
  • Availability to work during US CST business hours to provide timely support
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
  • Nice to have

  • Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure for cloud-based solutions
  • Familiarity with advanced monitoring tools and practices for system reliability
