We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team and provide technical expertise in maintaining and improving software systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring system reliability and delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities
- Resolve production incidents, service requests, and tasks to ensure system functionality and reliability
- Provide on-call support during US CST business hours, responding to incidents within established SLAs
- Perform minor enhancements, technical upgrades, and maintenance tasks as required
- Fix defects and improve back-end microservices and REST APIs to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and execute unit tests for new code and changes to guarantee software quality
- Manage the development-to-deployment lifecycle, including change initiation and approvals
- Follow best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and other standard methodologies
- Participate in daily Scrum meetings, handovers, and collaboration sessions to ensure team alignment
- Mentor developers and collaborate with peers to share knowledge and improve team efficiency
- Provide offshore support by resolving blockers, sharing information, and guiding prioritizations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experienceAt least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar roleStrong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework for software developmentKnowledge of APIs and microservices architecture for building scalable systemsExperience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and managementAvailability to work during US CST business hours to provide timely supportFluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higherNice to have
Background in financial services, particularly in wealth managementExperience working with Microsoft Azure for cloud-based solutionsFamiliarity with advanced monitoring tools and practices for system reliabilityWe offer
