Senior Specialist – Software Engineering (Java + Angular)

Location : Mexico City (Preferred) | Remote

Experience : 7–11 years

Work Model : Remote (with preference for Mexico City candidates)

Compensation : Open, based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Software Engineering with strong expertise in Java and Angular to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level web applications. The candidate will be responsible for building APIs and front-end screens, with the potential to grow into a Tech Lead role .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment for Java + Angular applications.
  • Design, develop, and implement web applications using Angular and Java technologies.
  • Build APIs and front-end components around them.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices .
  • Conduct code reviews , ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and user experience .
  • Work effectively within an Agile / Scrum development environment.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers .
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–11 years of professional experience in Java and Angular development.
  • Strong expertise in API development and integration.
  • Proven experience in full-stack development (Java backend + Angular front-end).
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, and scalable architectures .
  • Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies .
  • Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional and offshore / onsite teams.
  • Ability to mentor juniors and grow into a Tech Lead role .
