Role Description
This is a contract role for an Accountant and Internal Auditor. The role is on-site and located in Guadalajara, JAL. The Accountant and Internal Auditor will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, this role involves conducting internal audits to assess financial risks, examining financial records, identifying discrepancies, and making necessary recommendations to improve financial practices and controls.
Qualifications
- Accounting Skills : Proficiency in maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Auditing Skills : Experience in conducting internal audits, assessing financial risks, and identifying discrepancies
- Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations
- Detail-Oriented : High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant Experience and Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) are a plus
- Familiarity with Accounting Software : Experience with accounting software and SAI CASTELEC ERP systems
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
