Job Description
The Credit Specialist is responsible for various activities supporting the Credit Department. Seeking a candidate who has the ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has the ability to work within deadlines and strives to continually streamline business process.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
Process customer credit requests
Compile accurate credit scoring and company data
Prepare various Credit related reports
Obtain, track and reconcile customer financial statements
Review financial statements and assign risk ratings
Interact with branch offices regarding credit requests, past due receivables, and related issues
Respond to branch questions / requests for information
Research company information as needed
Qualifications
BA / BS in Accounting or Finance
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to review financial statements
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Fluent in English
Well developed attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Excellent customer service
Aptitude for learning new software applications
Must be currently eligible to work in Mexico
