Objective :
The Import / Export Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and optimizing logistics operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth flow of goods across borders, supporting Foxconn’s global supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Import & Export Operations
- Coordinate import and export activities, including documentation, scheduling, and customs clearance
- Classify goods according to tariff codes and ensure accurate declarations
- Prepare and process shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any transportation issues
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all shipments comply with local and international trade regulationsMaintain accurate records of import / export transactions for audits and reportingStay updated on changes in customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreementsLogistics Coordination
Plan logistics routes and arrange transportation with carriers and freight forwardersCommunicate with suppliers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operationsSupport warehouse and inventory teams with inbound and outbound shipment coordinationReporting & Process Improvement
Track and report key metrics related to shipping performance and costIdentify opportunities to streamline import / export processes and reduce delaysAssist in developing SOPs for international logistics proceduresQualifications :
