Inside Sales Specialist I - Hybrid - Mexico City

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Specialist I (Sales Analyst) to join our diverse and dynamic team.

As an Inside Sales Specialist I at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Account Development Manager’s with their prospecting efforts, driving RFP (request for proposal) volume and delivering on set tasks set to specific timelines.

What you will be doing

Working as part of a specialist Sales Analyst team, your main goal will be to identify new prospective customers and sales opportunities for ICON. Main duties include :

  • Producing reports regarding new prospective clients (company clinical development pipelines, asset information, key contacts, recent news headlines etc.)
  • Providing Account Development Manager’s with key intel to support them with their prospecting / engagement efforts
  • Utilising data analysis tools to review market trends
  • Supporting ICON’s Marketing-led sales initiatives
  • Tracking leads and updating Salesforce (CRM system) to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to understand their support requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or similar
  • Knowledge or a keen interest in the CRO / Biotech and Pharma industry
  • Previous experience in a CRO, biotech, med-tech or pharma company within a data analysis and / or sales function
  • Strong analytical skills - advanced use of Microsoft Excel, BI Publisher, or similar
  • Experience of working with a CRM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with internal stakeholders
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve set deliverables whilst working to specific timelines
