Warehouse Superintendent

ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory control.Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.Maintain optimal inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.Implement and enforce safety procedures and company policies.Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to meet performance goals.Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Production, Logistics) to ensure smooth operations.Monitor KPIs and generate reports on warehouse performance.Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.Qualifications5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Forklift certification is a plus.
