Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara Norte.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, the Test Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs and/or coordinate electronic technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
• Direct and coordinate electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
• Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages like Python
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
• Performs failure analysis on functional test failures.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
• Experience in electronical industry (desirable).
• Knowledge on ICT platforms (Keysight, Genrad, Digital Test).
• Knowledge on PXI and VXI platforms (desirable).

• Intermediate English.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Leadership for managing work teams and effective communication with other departments.
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test, ICT fixture development and enhancements.
• Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
• Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
