Project Overview

We are working with a company that builds AI-powered training simulations to help people enhance real‑world skills like leadership, communication, and decision‑making. Their platform blends real‑time audio / video, digital avatars, and AI—all supported by robust backend infrastructure.

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Python / GenAI) to build the backend systems that enable real‑time AI experiences. You will work closely with the AI team to develop services and infrastructure that allow AI models to be deployed, scaled, and integrated into live, low‑latency environments. This is a proactive, leadership‑driven role where you'll contribute across multiple projects and shape the backend strategy of a lean AI team.

The Ideal Candidate Has

• BS / MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in backend or full‑stack software engineering.
• Strong experience with Python and backend service development.
• Hands‑on expertise with real‑time systems (LiveKit, WebRTC, or similar streaming tech).
• Experience with low‑latency, AI‑integrated environments.
• Proficiency in scaling services in distributed, production‑grade environments.
• Solid background with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda) and Kubernetes.
• Skilled in performance optimization, debugging, and observability tools.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI / CD tools.
• Experience deploying AI models in production or supporting AI / ML engineers.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangFuse, Ray, or LLMOps frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).
