Would you like to work on the development of roof systems for future car models together with some of the market leaders in the automotive industry? Inalfa Roof Systems is a world leading supplier for OEM automotive roof systems and still growing strong. Are you ready to grow with us?
Plans and directs activities at suppliers associated with the development, construction and verification of production components, tools, gages, and processes to automotive and industry quality standards.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are :
- Plan and lead APQP and PPAP with suppliers and cross-functional Inalfa team in launches
- Facilitate seamless tool and business transfers from underperforming suppliers to new
- Represent Inalfa as subject matter expert in assigned commodity
- Lead potential supplier evaluations by auditing to IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards
- Lead internal and second-party system, process, and product audits
- Manage issue escalations and corrective actions with suppliers
- Coordinate component engineering changes affecting entire region or globally
- Use advanced problem-solving skills to resolve difficult problems
- Strong GD&T, tool, and check fixture knowledge. Experience with check fixture design and build
- Travel required up to 75% in Mexico, the United States and other countries
- Interface professionally with Customers, Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, and Operations, and Third-Party sorting companies
- Follow up specific activities assigned by manager
- Previous manager experience is preferred at a Tier 1 supplier.
What Do We Expect From You :
Preferably Bachelor of Engineering in one of these areas : Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Metals, Glass.
5 years in Automotive Quality minimum
Broad experience with numerous commodities and processes in the Automotive supply sector.
Supplier Quality Tier 1 launch experience preferred, Second-Party Auditing experience, Lead Auditor credentials preferred
Language : Fluent English
