Power BI Administrator

Role Title : PowerBI Administrator

Duration : 7 months + extensions

Preferred Location : Remote Near Shore

Role Description :

This is a role requiring focused expertise in core administration activities and platform governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a stable, secure, and optimized Power BI environment while proactively identifying and addressing performance or capacity issues. The ideal candidate should also be capable of identifying cost-saving opportunities within the platform and recommending appropriate actions to management, ensuring both operational efficiency and financial stewardship.

Requirements :

• 3 - 5 years of experience with Power BI Administration
• Proficiency in Power BI administration, including managing user access, security settings, and report deployment.
• Strong data modeling skills to create efficient data structures and optimize report performance.
• Experience with troubleshooting Power BI issues and understanding ETL processes is essential for maintaining operational efficiency.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell or other shell scripting languages for automation and bulk actions.
• Deep understanding of Power BI governance, capacity management, and operational best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and the ability to diagnose and resolve deployment issues.
• Familiarity with data integration concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and its data services.
