This is a Project Coordinator role focused on residential solar operations, offered under an independent contractor setup.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to oversee residential solar projects from sale through completion. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining project timelines, coordinating with homeowners and internal teams, managing documentation, and ensuring all milestones are met in accordance with internal SLAs. This position is ideal for someone with solar industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment.

Work Setup :

  • This is an independent contractor role.
  • Full remote setup – work from anywhere.
  • No statutory benefits provided as per contractor agreement. (e.g., health insurance, social security)

  • Job Responsibilities :

    Homeowner Communication

  • Drafting and delivering milestone updates
  • Communication with homeowners during active and hold project statuses
  • Communication with homeowners after PTO’d status (Permission to Operate) until exit checklist is complete
  • Collection of items from homeowners and follow-ups
  • Dealing with escalating customers
  • Project Management

  • Progressing accounts within OWE SLAs
  • Interdepartmental communication and coordination
  • Understanding the local office market, AHJs, and utilities
  • Ensuring accurate scopes of work
  • Accounts Receivable / Finance-Related Items

  • Loan and utility bill reimbursements
  • Milestone payments for cash customers
  • Ensuring project completion within finance timelines
  • Collection of required photos for finance acceptance
  • Major Projects

  • First Five-Day (F5D) Incentive – to complete the initial stages of projects within the first five days, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to installation
  • 90-Day Project Sale to PTO’d – to expedite project completion from the initial sale to PTO status within 90 days
  • Reporting on office specifics – tracking and analyzing key metrics, such as project timelines and customer satisfaction at the office level
  • PUMA Referral Program – to harness the power of referrals and drive new business

  • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, project coordination, or solar operations
  • Experience in handling homeowner communication, milestone updates, and escalated concerns
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and stay within SLAs
  • Understanding of local jurisdictions, utility processes, and scopes of work in residential solar projects
  • Familiarity with solar financing, loan reimbursements, and milestone-based payments
  • Ability to collect and organize photo documentation and other items for finance processing
  • Experience working with or supporting referral and review programs
  • Spanish bilingual - ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a remote work setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Pay : MXN 17,550
