The Director of Sales plays a key leadership role in driving revenue for the hotel by overseeing all sales activities, working closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, maximizing, and monitoring the hotel’s sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals in Rooms, Events, and other outlets.
- Lead and coordinate all sales activities in collaboration with key revenue departments (Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, etc.).
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, goals, and action plans to achieve forecasted revenue targets across all business segments.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to optimize performance.
- Actively build and maintain strong partnerships with key industry players such as travel agencies, corporate travel managers, and event organizers.
- Identify, qualify, and target key accounts using the Envision Sales & Catering system and other CRM tools.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase market share and drive revenue growth in key market segments.
- Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in leading the sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Drive a culture of proactive sales, goal achievement, and customer‑centricity within the sales department.
- Ensure team members consistently apply the hotel’s sales standards and best practices.
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales calls, account management, and industry networking.
- Engage directly with senior‑level decision‑makers of target organizations to present hotel services and secure business.
- Oversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and event plans, ensuring client needs are met with excellence.
- Support the accurate forecasting of group and transient room nights, event revenues, and other key metrics.
- Contribute to the preparation and management of the department’s sales budget and revenue forecasts.
- Ensure that all sales and service activities align with the hotel’s brand standards, delivering seamless and high‑quality customer experiences.
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in all sales processes.
