Software Engineer in Test

Overview

This role is responsible for defining testing strategy, building and executing tests, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to improve software quality. The position requires hands-on testing, test automation, and metrics-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify testing needs in terms of process and engineering approach
• Create test plans and drive testing work into the product backlog
• Hands-on implementation of testing software
• Develop techniques to automate manual testing by working with senior software and product engineers
• Develop, gather, and publish key metrics to determine the health and consistency of the tests
• Use metrics to drive improvements in code design, tooling and prioritization
