Electrical Harness Design Engineer

Weldmation a company specialized in engineering services for the automotive industry, is looking for an Electrical Harness Design Engineer with experience in 3D modeling and low-voltage electrical systems development.

Responsibilities

Model electrical harnesses and components in 3D using CATIA V5 / NX / PTC Creo, following engineering standards and automotive design guidelines.

Specialize in the design of flexible electrical components, including harness routing, connectors, supports, and fixing structures.

Interpret low-voltage electrical requirements and translate them into efficient CAD routing solutions.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure technical and functional feasibility of designs.

Manage technical documentation, versions, and releases through PLM systems such as Windchill or Teamcenter.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.

1–6 years of professional experience in CAD design or automotive electrical systems development.

Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.

Experience in 3D modeling tools (CATIA V5, NX, or PTC Creo).

Intermediate to advanced English level.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
