Job Title : Mexico Financial Director

The organization is seeking an experienced financial leader to oversee all aspects of its Mexican operations.

Job Description

  • Ensure financial integrity and compliance : Monitor and maintain accurate financial records, adhere to local laws and regulations, and ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Manage internal controls and audit : Develop and implement effective internal control systems, collaborate with external auditors to improve procedures, and perform treasury functions.
  • Analyze and optimize financial processes : Provide expert analysis and evaluations on financial data to improve business results, and continuously optimize financial processes for efficiency.
  • Support business growth : Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth from a financial perspective.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in finance : Proven track record in financial leadership roles, preferably in a Big Four environment.
  • Fluent language skills : Proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
  • Accounting or finance degree : University graduate or above in accounting or finance-related disciplines, with relevant certifications such as CPC / CPA / CMA / ACCA.
  • Leadership and analytical skills : Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Cultural competence : Deep understanding of local business laws, policies, and regulations.
