Our Specialists are among the most senior members of our Solution Engineering team, providing thought leadership both internally and externally on our Product and underlying technologies. The team is an integral part of the wider Open Source community as well as working closely with our Pre-Sales team and our most strategic customers. Our global team works with broad autonomy as a bridge between Engineering and our wider Field teams, Clients, & Partners to drive the adoption and development of our ever-evolving Platform.

A Cloud Solutions Architect at Cloudera leads the adoption of Cloudera running on Public Cloud Platforms. We specialize in running Big Data & Machine Learning workloads on AWS, GCP, & Azure. This is a hands-on, customer facing role where you will identify use cases, develop best practices, and guide customers through their Data Journey in the Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Assist local account teams with your deep technical knowledge of running ETL, Analytical, Streaming, and Machine Learning workloads on Public Cloud infrastructure.
• Advise customers on the optimal way for running various Big Data workloads in the Public Cloud considering factors like performance & cost effectiveness.
• Be a thought leader who can lead enablement workshops and evangelize Big Data use cases on Public Cloud at both small and large scale events.
• Engage with security and compliance teams to ensure the solution fits with customer's Cloud Compliance rules.
• Communicate customer feature requests to product management to help guide product direction.
