Job Description
The Crew Relations Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR division for crew related issues. This includes managing berthing and par level processes for all crew members, providing reports for each voyage, coordinating the crew emergency plan numbers, and assisting with crew immigration / customs during sign-on and sign-off.
This role requires a strong ability to work positively and cooperatively in a diverse team environment, interact with a wide variety of ethnic diversity, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with crew information. The successful candidate will also be able to conduct activities to enhance crew morale and employee satisfaction, and work within the constraints of a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in working knowledge of onboard computer systems, internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as MS Office is essential. Excellent interpersonal and people skills are also required.
