Join our team as a hands‑on Integration Architect supporting the migration from IBM IIB / ACE to an Apache Camel‑based platform. You will engage with clients directly, lead technical discussions, and perform implementation tasks. Apply now to contribute to a key digital transformation initiative.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client architects and tech leads to analyze and plan ACE to Camel migration
- Participate in architecture and design meetings, working sessions, and technical discovery workshops
- Perform hands‑on spike and proof of concept work for Apache Camel–based integration patterns
- Support ongoing maintenance and KTLO of IBM IIB / ACE services during the transition
- Review and document current integration flows, data transformations, and dependencies
- Recommend modernization patterns, decomposition strategies, and migration approaches
- Assist in developing high‑level migration roadmaps and integration best practices
- Coordinate with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and set next‑step expectations
Requirements
Strong experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Integration Engineer with 3+ years in integration rolesHands‑on expertise with Java and Spring Boot for integration and API developmentFamiliarity with Apache Camel or strong readiness to adopt quicklyPrior experience with IBM IIB / ACE including flows, message models, and ESQLSolid understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI / Swagger, and messaging patterns such as MQ, JMS, or KafkaStrong communication and leadership skills for client‑facing engagementsAbility to operate effectively in a time and materials delivery mode, adapting to evolving prioritiesExperience documenting solutions using Confluence, Markdown, or similar toolsEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higherNice to have
Experience with Camel‑based modernization or comparative platform analysisKnowledge of API gateway governance, observability, and CI / CD pipelinesExposure to integration best practices in cloud and hybrid environmentsFamiliarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.aiWe offer
