The IT Application Development - Enterprise Content Management (ECM) unit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Team Lead to provide technical and strategic leadership within our ECM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions that support enterprise collaboration and information management objectives.
This position requires a professional with a strong background in SharePoint development and administration, both On-Premises and in SharePoint Online, as well as proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of technical expertise, strategic vision, and interpersonal skills to drive excellence within the ECM function.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the SharePoint team to ensure effective planning, development, implementation, and ongoing support of SharePoint-based solutions.
Align team objectives with the overall ECM strategy and IT departmental goals to enhance enterprise collaboration and content management.
Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint environments, providing hands-on expertise in both development and administration.
Architect and implement custom SharePoint solutions, including workflows, automation, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust, user-centered SharePoint solutions.
Enforce adherence to best practices in SharePoint development, security, governance, and lifecycle management.
Monitor system health, performance, and security, ensuring optimal operation and timely issue resolution.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the definition of ECM roadmaps, policies, and standards in coordination with IT leadership.
Technical Qualifications
SharePoint Development & Customization :
Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for modern web parts and extensions.
Expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for workflow automation.
Experience with REST API, CSOM, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and SPFx web parts.
Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API for integration with Microsoft 365 services (desirable).
SharePoint Administration & Configuration :
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint On-Premise (2019, Subscription Edition) and SharePoint Online administration.
Proficiency in Central Administration, farm management, and service applications.
Strong understanding of permissions, authentication, and security management.
Experience managing site collections, content databases, and UI customization (Modern and Classic).
Database & Backend Development :
Working knowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Dataverse.
Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting (advantageous).
Cloud & Integration Technologies :
Familiarity with Azure Functions for automation and custom services.
Understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory for identity and access management.
Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and third-party tools such as ShareGate and AvePoint.
General Qualifications
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Proven ability to deliver customized SharePoint solutions aligned with business needs.
Comprehensive understanding of SharePoint governance, compliance, and content management principles.
Commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900) are highly desirable.
