Account Quality Management Specialist – Electronics Industry

Position Summary :

The Account Quality Management Specialist in the electronics industry will be responsible for driving and managing quality assurance efforts with key customer accounts. T

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Account Quality Management :

Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters for assigned customer and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their quality expectations and with account managers and sales teams to align quality goals with customer objectives.

Quality Assurance Processes :

Implement and monitor quality management systems (QMS) tailored to customer needs and product regular quality audits, both internally and at supplier facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).Develop and enforce quality control procedures and test plans to ensure product reliability and performance.

Issue Resolution and Corrective Actions :

Investigate, document, and resolve customer complaints, non-conformances, and quality-related root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address quality timely and proactive communication to customers regarding issue resolutions and status updates.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting :

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like defect rates, downtime, returns, and customer satisfaction and present quality reports, including trend analysis and recommendations for improvement, to customers and internal stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement Efforts :

Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects or cross-functional teams in implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance and Certification :

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to the electronics sector (e.g., RoHS, REACH, IPC standards).Support customer-specific audits and certification processes, ensuring all deliverables are met without compromising quality standards.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service teams to address quality training to internal teams and suppliers on quality processes, highlighting the importance of meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications and Skills :

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics, or a related field.2 years of experience in a quality management role within the electronics or manufacturing industry.

Technical Expertise :

Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, ISO 9001).Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, 8D problem-solving, Pareto analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).Experience with quality management software (e.g., SAP QM, Minitab, or similar tools).

Soft Skills :

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision- to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Certifications (Preferred) :

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green / Black Belt, or similar certifications.
