Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Avion Express specializes in operating Airbus A320 family aircraft and has built strong, long-term partnerships with airlines across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Americas. Among its well-known partners are airlines such as Viva, Eurowings, Flybondi, KM Malta, Wizz Air, and many others.

The company unites approximately 2,000 aviation professionals, including crew members, aviation engineers, and administrative specialists from 64 different nationalities, and it plans to continue growing. ARE YOU READY TO?

  • Manage the certification process of Avion Express in Mexico.
  • Lead the company by fostering professional development of the team and by maintaining high operational standards.
  • Manage the operations of the company to ensure efficient ACMI and Charter service delivery to company’s clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Mexican aviation laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Mexican aviation authorities, particularly the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC).
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the company’s growth and competitiveness in the market.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Previous senior leadership experience in the aviation industry; experience in the Mexican market would be considered an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Mexican aviation market and regulatory environment.
  • Proven experience working with AFAC and other relevant authorities.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Mexican citizenship or legal authorization to work in Mexico.
