Principal, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be a key driver in the innovation and advancement of Nike’s manufacturing processes within the LATAM region. This role will lead a team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers in developing and implementing cutting‑edge automation and digitization capabilities, ensuring that Nike maintains a competitive edge in manufacturing technology.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

What You Bring :

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Advanced Manufacturing, Automation, and Digitization.
• Proven leadership in managing and developing high-performing engineering teams with a focus on automation technologies.
• Expertise in automation systems, robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and IoT as they relate to manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in GSD and background in factory capacity planning & management.
• A strong technical foundation with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in engineering or technology management are preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing process design and optimization, with a demonstrated ability to innovate and improve complex systems.
• A track record of successfully implementing large-scale automation and digitization projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-layered global organization.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and data analysis tools.
