Overview

SUMMARY Responsible for assisting in maximizing sales and margin goals for PROFICIUM by competitively pricing components for cable assembly bill of materials. This includes sourcing competitively priced products that are available in time to meet production needs, reviewing new and repeat sales orders for acceptable gross margins and delivery needs, purchasing products for quick turn orders and reviewing bill of materials for any obvious part master errors.

Qualifications

Education and / or Experience

1. College degree preferred; five years or more related purchasing experience or training.

Language Skills

Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Able to understand customers where English is a second language. Must be able to understand and communicate customer requirements clearly to other departments in the company.

Computer Skills

Must have significant computer experience using Windows, Word, Excel, and use of the internet in support of job tasks.
