Full-Stack / Frontend Engineer

Title : Full Stack Engineer Salary : $3,500 per month Client Overview : Our client is an educational based technology start-up that launched in 2018. They provide educational services to students interested in pursuing a college degree. They have experienced excellent growth and are looking to add a Full Stack Engineer to their team. The leadership team is comprised of former Google and X engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work side by side while making an impact on many students lives. Key Requirements :

3+ years experience with PHP and Laravel frameworks

Strong frontend development skills with JavaScript (Vanilla JS, some reactive frameworks)

Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first approaches

Knowledge of REST API design and implementation

Experience with version control systems (GitHub)

Familiarity with third-party integrations (Twilio, Mailgun, Stripe, or similar)

Understanding of web application security best practices

Ability to work alongside team members who prefer backend work

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have :

Experience with Zoom SDK or similar video conferencing integrations and technologies (screensharing, audio performance, latency)

Knowledge of payment processing systems (Stripe, Affirm)

Experience with real-time communication technologies

UI / UX sensibilities for improving application design

Primary Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain frontend components of the Brightfox platform

Collaborate on improving the Brightfox Video platform (custom JavaScript + Zoom SDK)

Enhance user experience across desktop and mobile web applications

Implement new features with a focus on design and usability

Work with existing backend engineer on full-stack features
