Title : Sr. Software Engineer

Location : Monterrey, N.L. (Hybrid)

Overview

The Software Engineer will join our team to build the next generation of BY Supply Chain applications. These applications are being built from the ground up to take advantage of current and emerging technologies and practices. Our team pushes the boundaries on how product development is done, encourages you to look at problems in new ways. All along while collaborating on new technologies across BY and internally as well as celebrating each individual’s capabilities.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in development across all layers of the stack from the front-end through to back-end elements such as business logic, API design, algorithms and data stores. The candidate is also expected to have some specialized skills in a few of the layers, such as data technologies, or user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using React for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end.
• Work in an Agile team, manage sprint tasks, and report progress.
• Provide user support and resolve product issues.
• Demo application functionality to stakeholders.
• Ensure application performance and functionality.
• Document processes and requirements.
• Learn new technologies and tackle challenges.
