• About the Role
• As a
• Network Operations Engineer
• , you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing DXC’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, implement upgrades, and support strategic initiatives across the enterprise.###
• Essential Job Functions
• Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and reliability across global infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and degradations in a timely manner.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement network changes and upgrades.
• Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.###
• Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network operations or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network platforms.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).###
• Other Qualifications
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
