We are currently looking for a Purchasing Analyst 1 to join our team in Toluca Distribution Center (CDR). This role utilizes computer-based systems to coordinate, monitor, track, and report for the purchasing production parts section. It analyzes data and related processes, making recommendations for improvement when possible. It assists managers and buyers by identifying parts needing action, initiates action, and tracks progress; including cost and sourcing documents. Interfaces with other departments to ensure necessary documents / data are in place to help assist managers and buyers meet required actions.

Reporting line : Reports to : Sonia Alejandra Macias Cañas

Responsibilities

• Maintains, updates, and reports status on various reports (daily, weekly, monthly, or annually) for the assigned section, prepared for department or upper management.
• Coordinates activities for the section to ensure deadlines are met and that replies are provided when due (e.g., TEMP POs, Sourcing Status, project management).
• Supports the department cost forecasting tool (CFP) by running reports and assisting in its maintenance.
• Supports the department (US and Mexico) in other activity areas as needed, including Sr. Manager, Managers and buyers.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.
