Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Murex software for client projects using Murex tools and scripts.
- Perform basic smoke tests before delivery.
- Act as first‑level support for deployed Murex products, redirecting and coordinating with support teams.
- Perform system health checks and diagnostics (RAM, CPU, processes, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Automate routine tasks and database conversions, including database sanitization and purging procedures.
- Execute migration sequences and stabilize environments.
- Contribute to creating environment and configuration management methodologies, communication workflows, and templates.
- Customize and document installation and conversion / upgrade procedures.
- Deliver training and best practices for Murex clients and project teams.
- Manage internal streams, create tools, measure KPIs, and analyze potential issues.
- Ensure good collaboration with the project team and customers.
- Contribute to product evolution by providing feedback to product teams and following up on defects and issues.
Technical Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.Experience with scripting languages.Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication skills.Knowledge of technical machine specifications and XML manipulation.Knowledge of UNIX operations and hands‑on command‑line operations.Knowledge of RDBMS operations.Understanding of financial markets.Must Have
Strong working knowledge of Murex configuration and environment management.Strong knowledge of scheduler software (e.g., Tidal, Autosys, JAMS, etc.).Good understanding of MXTest.Good product knowledge of IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD.Good understanding of workflows, operations, fixings process, confirmations, and trade life cycle.Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex.Good knowledge of post‑trade interactions between capital market actors.Previous experience, minimum 2 years, with Murex environment management.Strong personality, logical and analytical skills.Detail‑oriented, quick learner, self‑starter.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong organization skills.Good SQL, Unix, scripting, Sybase and Oracle skills.Seniority Level
