Job Description :

Drives the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems, infrastructure, and applications. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to ensure that our IT solutions align with the company's objectives and meet the needs of our internal stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of IT engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Drive the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions to support their business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for adoption to enhance our IT capabilities and competitiveness.
  • Establish and maintain IT engineering standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT engineering services and solutions, ensuring service level agreements are met and value for money is achieved.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, representing the IT engineering team and ensuring successful outcomes.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 6+ in IT engineering, with a focus on system design, infrastructure management, and application development.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as networking, cloud computing, virtualization, cybersecurity, and database management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
  • This role will work hand in hand with people throughout the Tech organization.
