Tax Accounting Advisor

Position Objective :

Support the tax department in the timely fulfillment of tax obligations and in managing tax refunds, primarily VAT, through the proper compilation of files, analysis of accounting information, and response to requests from the authorities.

Responsibilities :

Support in the preparation and filing of monthly and annual VAT and income tax (ISR) returns, as well as informational returns.

Prepare and review VAT refund files, ensuring compliance with SAT requirements.

Respond to requests from the tax authorities related to refunds or electronic audits.

Verify the correct issuance, receipt, and classification of CFDIs for income, expenses, and payments.

Reconcile tax accounts.

Keep tax working papers and reconciliations with accounting records up to date.

Provide support during tax audits and assist in compiling monthly reports and statements for the Tax Management Department..

Eduacation :

Bachelor degree in accounting or a carreer related to the position

Knowledge :

VAT, Income Tax, and Federal Fiscal Code

SAT Platforms

Informative Declarations

More than 2 years of experience in the tax or fiscal area, preferably in tax refunds.
