Responsibilities
- Oversee Import / Export activities includinglegal requirements.
- Customs focal point.
- Manage entire operations transitions from foreign locations to Mexico includingall Logistics aspects
Trade, Transportation, Warehousing, Packagingand others)
Run CTPAT / OEA Monthly / Annual Assessments accordingly.Support Company Audits.Support Gov Audits.Follow up and update Customs procedures.Elaborate / Audit Anexo 24 & 31 monthly reports.Coordinate brokers activities for customs clearance when required.Ensure compliance with all applicable Customs laws (Global adherence)Enforce duty savingsSupport new Customs / Logistics initiatives.YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree (Trade, Customs, International Law).Customs or Foreign Trade Operations experience - Inventory ControlSupervision and Leader ExperienceAdvanced EnglishFive years of experience as a Trade Compliance Analyst or equivalent. OEA CTPATFive years of experience managing asset controls (Customs) Management of Annex 24, Annex 22 or Annex 30 systemProficiency on Customs and MRP Systems.WE VALUE
Experience on tariff classification, customs valuation and defining country of originExperience establishing new Trade OperationsPrevious interactions with SAT on site auditsProblem solvingStrong analytical skillsAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent customer service
