We’re hiring a Sales & Retention Team Lead to manage a high-impact squad of Retention Managers who turn refund requests into renewed commitment .
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to close high-ticket sales , motivate a team , and hit KPIs fast . You’ll be at the frontline of saving clients — and revenue — while shaping the future of our retention strategy across Spanish-speaking markets.
What you will do
- Lead a small team of Retention Managers focused on refund prevention and client recovery.
- Own and drive key KPIs : retention rate, conversion time, recovery value per case .
- Act as a player-coach : jump into complex negotiations while supporting and growing your team’s performance.
- Develop and iterate on scripts, rebuttals, and sales strategies tailored to refund scenarios.
- Review team performance daily and coach for speed, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and CX teams to align on strategy and messaging.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in sales, retention, or client-facing roles , preferably with high-ticket services (average check $1000+ ).Proven track record of closing deals , overcoming objections, and recovering high-risk clients.1–3 years of experience managing small teams — you know how to coach, track KPIs, and drive accountability.Fluent in Spanish (C1+) — confident and persuasive in client conversations across LATAM.Highly organized, operationally sharp, and motivated by results and speed.Strong communicator with emotional intelligence, resilience under pressure, and a love for growth.Bonus Points
Experience in edtech, bootcamps, or fast-growth startups.Familiar with tools like HubSpot, Zendesk, Aircall, Looker, or other CRM / reporting platforms.Background in client recovery, churn reduction, or high-volume case management.What we can offer you
