Remote – LATAM (EST / CST preferred) | 🕐 Full-time | Flexible hours with U.S. time zone overlap ✈️ Occasional travel to warehouse in Texas

What You’ll Do💰

Accounts Receivable & Invoicing

  • Match payments to invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Create credit memos and manage chargebacks
  • Send weekly AR summaries and aging reports
  • Support SPS Commerce invoicing and internal invoice tracking

Accounts Payable & Expense Matching

  • Verify and enter vendor bills (QBO & Finale)
  • Match expenses to transactions (credit / debit cards)
  • Categorize and assign expenses to correct accounts / classes
  • Generate AP and budget reports for review
  • Journal Entries & Close Support

  • Post journal entries (Amazon FBA, undeposited funds)
  • Assist with COGS validation and monthly close
  • Prepare monthly financial review and QofE reports
  • Reconciliations

  • Monthly account reconciliations : bank, credit cards, clearing, undeposited funds
  • Sales Tax Compliance (U.S. & Canada)

  • File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns for multiple U.S. states and Canadian provinces
  • Submit Nexus exposure reports and sales tax risk analyses
  • Help automate the filing process
  • Trade & Reporting Support Maintain NAFTA / USMCA compliance docs

  • Generate regular reports : shipping time, product expiration, Amazon fees, inventory turnover, and more
  • Customer Service & Collaboration

  • Cross-train with the Customer Service team for backup support
  • Collaborate with COO & CFO on various finance and ops initiatives
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years in accounting / bookkeeping (QBO required)
  • Knowledge of Eccommerce, Supply Chain
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Knowledge of U.S. multi-state sales tax and Canadian tax.
  • Excellent written English
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and across teams
  • Comfortable with remote work and occasional U.S. travel
  • Preferred Experience

  • Amazon FBA financial workflows
  • Canadian tax filings (HST / GST / PST)
  • Finale Inventory, SPS Commerce, WMS tools
  • Month-end close and financial reporting
  • Technical & Soft Skills

  • Cloud tools : Asana, Google Drive, Notion
  • Ecommerce platforms : Shopify, Amazon, B2B
  • Accounting principles (especially in ecommerce)
  • Strong organization, time management & problem-solving
  • Able to handle sensitive financial data discreetly
  • Bonus (Nice to Have)

  • NAFTA / USMCA document prep
  • Experience with COGS and inventory cost accounting
  • Exposure to Canadian vendors or international tax filings
  • Prior remote work with U.S. teams
