Job Summary :

The Warehouse Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all outbound shipping operations. This includes supervising the packing and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and on-time shipments, maintaining shipping documentation, and managing the shipping team. The role plays a key part in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and damage-free deliveries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise daily shipping operations, including picking, packing, labeling, and loading of outbound shipments.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with customer and carrier requirements.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight companies, and logistics partners to schedule pickups and resolve any issues.
• Manage and train shipping staff, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance.
• Review and maintain shipping records, bills of lading, and other documentation.
• Enforce shipping policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain shipping supplies inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials (e.g., boxes, labels, pallets).
• Monitor shipping equipment (e.g., forklifts, scales) and schedule maintenance as required.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Customer Service, Inventory, and Receiving to ensure seamless operations.
