You will work closely with U.S.-based attorneys while coordinating with our administrative support teams across Latin America.
This is a fully remote position, but we prefer candidates based in Mexico City for occasional team meetups and potential hybrid opportunities.? Ideal Candidate Profile2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in U.S.
Personal Injury or Workers' Compensation law.Experience with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, MyCase, SmartAdvocate).Excellent organizational and multitasking skills – able to manage multiple files and deadlines independently.Fluent in English and Spanish, capable of communicating confidently with clients, attorneys, courts, and providers in both languages.Familiarity with U.S. litigation procedures, deadlines, court filings, and document formatting.Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset.Prior experience in a remote legal support role is a plus.Law degree in Mexico or Latin America is highly desirable, but not required.Candidates with U.S. Law School coursework + PI experience are welcome to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and file legal documents (complaints, discovery, motions, correspondence).Manage attorney calendars : schedule depositions, hearings, and deadlines.Organize trial documents, prepare exhibits, and keep case summaries updated.Translate legal documents and interpret during attorney-client calls, if required.Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and court staff.Track case milestones, statutory deadlines, and assist in file management.Collaborate with LATAM support team to ensure case accuracy and task completion.Support attorneys in all pre-litigation and litigation phases.
