ABOUT THE ROLE

The Plant Manager will be responsible for overall leadership of the site's operational performance in financial, quality, service, productivity, safety, employee relations, and supply chain management.

In this role, the successful candidate will develop, and continuously improve an effective system of metrics, scorecards, governance and reviews to ensure strategies and projects are aligned with business needs in a leading company where individual and team success are recognized and rewarded.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

  • Knowledge in Financial Management (P&L, Capex, Budgeting, etc).
  • Knowledge of supply chain and strategic planning.
  • High leadership of multidisciplinary Manager teams - Production, Quality, Maintenance- and directly related with Sales teams, Customer service, Product development etc.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience on manufacturing automation and digitalization as a plus.
  • Attract, manage, develop and retain a staff of change agents to deliver results in a manner consistent.
  • Drive an engaged learning organization that is capable of meeting and exceeding business goals.
  • Secure a financially healthy site, elaborating Year financial plan and understanding the P&L of the site and working with the team to secure financial success.
  • Create a vision and operating strategy ( Objectives, Goals, Strategies and KPI´S) and ensure effective execution, exceptional quality, service, cost management, safety, inventory and bottom-line results.
  • Drive lean management and process discipline throughout manufacturing areas by personally championing Lean Manufacturing & SixSigma.
  • Model and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.

Requisitos

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU :

  • 10 years of experience Direction positions - General Management, Operations, Production - Manufacturing, or similar.
  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or similar; Major in engineering, industrial management or related.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Skills, or related
  • Bilingual 100% - English (Fluent spoken and written).
  • Skilled in analyzing and managing information for daily operational needs and improvement for the team.
  • Skilled in scheduling and planning, budgeting and control.
  • Skilled in designing and implementing operation improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, training, inventory and services.
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Operating Principles.
  • Good organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, G Suite, and function specific software.
