IBM Technical Engineer

Description

Arrow is seeking an IBM Technical Engineer to provide technical knowledge and tailored solutions to our channel partner community in North America. As a Technical Engineer, you will be accountable for delivering system designs and configurations and overseeing day-to-day technical account-level activities. You will be responsible for architecting solutions for channel partners within your assigned technology focus area. The successful candidate will have knowledge of IBM Power Systems and knowledge across modern infrastructure and adjacent technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Provides technical support and guidance to channel partners and sales staff with pre-sales activities on behalf of Arrow’s supplier IBM.
• Leads in the analysis, design, and refinement of technology solutions
• Demonstrates knowledge on IBM Power systems, networking, and cloud services
• Keeps up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape
• Develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned channel partners and their end users
• Serves as a trusted technology adviser to channel partners and serve as an internal Arrow resource on technical plays or specific business applications and outcomes within an assigned market segment
• Successfully builds relationships with the Arrow account team, partners and end users in support of sales objectives; engages and leverages Arrow horizontal resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate
• Participate in IBM technical sales calls with and on behalf of channel partners
• Qualifies IBM sales opportunities to meet end customer technical requirements

Annual Hiring Range / Hourly Rate :

53,616.67 - $66,000.00 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
