I. Job Summary :

II. Primarily Job Responsibilities Responsible for the new product introduction processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

Transfer and / or work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.

1.1.Provide feedback based on lessons learned to STC department.

1.2.Support on the equipment transportation for the new motor assembly line.

1.3.Coordinate the installation and validation of the assembly and test equipment.

1.4.Ensure the assembly process is able to meet / pass the RR event on time.

1.5.Work with purchasing to develop expendable product packaging.

1.6.Define and establish the correct set up of the machines using the DOE methodology when applicable.

1.7.Work with R&D to improve manufacturing processes.

Develop working instructions, workmanship standards and process documents, and ensure they are followed.

2.1.Coordinate PFMEA and Reverse PFMEA with a multifunctional team (Quality, Product, R&D, Manufacturing, Maintenance and operator).

2.2.Provide training to manufacturing on working instructions and ensure that those are going to be followed.

2.3.Develop the Flow Chart and support on Control Plan of each process.

2.4.Perform periodical revisions of procedures, work instructions and all documents where is responsible.

Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing system while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers

3.1.Participate on Continues Improvement and Kaizen activities.

3.2.Align 3Q6S initiatives on manufacturing process.

3.3.Work and deliver safe and ergonomic manufacturing process.

3.4.Work to meet SQDCI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory) metrics as well as KPIs (Key Performance Indicator).

Develop innovative solutions, evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.

4.1.Implement mistake proofing solution.

4.2.Work with supplier on cutting-edge ideas.

4.3.Work on effective line balancing strategies.

Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.

5.1.Apply Line Balance concept to identify bottlenecks and remove them.

5.2.Perform Cpk and Ppk analysis in order to maintain capable stations (>

5.3.Perform GR&R (P / T ratios and % study variation below 10%) and AAA (>

90%) to critical station.

5.4.Work with Quality, Production, and Maintenance team on FPY and OEE activities.

Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.

6.1.Work with Test and Maintenance team to automate or semi-automate process using PLC, sensor, mechanical and hydraulic devices.

Advise on corrective actions.

7.1.Participate on LPA audits.

7.2.Work with multifunctional team on 8D and customer complaints analysis.

7.3.Work with production line and Quality department on QRQC analysis.

7.4.Ensure process documentation is updated, and open actions are closed before any audit such as VDA, Customer, IATF 16949, and others.

Ensure projects are completed on time and financial budgets are followed.

8.1.Follow established projects plan based on time and budget.

8.2.Be able to develop ROI and Payback analysis.

8.3.Work with purchasing department on the quoting process, and in the following processes until get the PO then keep in touch with the supplier in order to meet committed date.

Work with design engineering on DFX (Design for excellence) to include.

9.1.Design for cost

9.2.Design for test

9.3.Design for manufacturability

9.4.Design for assembly

10.Responsibility 10 or last. The Responsibility related for environmental.

10.1.If applicable to follow the VME or safety devices and report to the personnel indicated as applicable in order to correct it promptly.

10.2.Report to the medical department any incident or accident.

10.3.Follow the ergonomics recommendations while using computer equipment.

10.4.Respect and follow environmental program department rules and ISO14001 guidelines.

III. Competences required to perform the job (functional and interpersonal skills) :

Advance knowledge on manufacturing processes (for electrical motors or transformer preferable). Knowledge and experience on the automotive and teamwork in process management tools including PFMEA, process control plans, reactions plans and risk problem solving skills including root cause and fault tree with Lean Manufacturing knowledge on line balancing and time study. MOST and research and practical to complete tasks on time and into budget. Proven history in improving supply chain eyes for documentation management understanding of Quality knowledge of CAD / CAE and Solid work engineering and / or knowledge in CQI 15.Experience on equipment integration : PLC programing. (Keyence preferable ) Knowledge on vision system implementation and set up (either camera or sensor)Experience using servomotors, pneumatic cylinders.

IV. Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic writing and spoken at least 80%

V. Work Experience :

3+ years in the manufacturing environment (automotive industry).3+ years of experience in process development and technology transfer.

VI. Certifications / Training :

Six Sigma and Lean , Control Plan, and Process and DOE.

Generally responsibility as an individual contributor :

Report water or oil leaks in machines to the EHS the lack of environmental badges to the EHS off equipment when they are not being used, includes offices if correctly without mixing of Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste (Cardboard, plastic, etc).Respect the quality rules at all times to reduce the generation of scrap.

VIII. Accountability and Authority of the position :

Stop the assembly line when a safety and / or Quality issue is found. Support production to meet production other team members when stakeholders informed of progress, obstacles and changes to the work action to address safety concerns and mitigate risks.
