Descripción y Requisitos

I. Job Summary :

Responsible for fast response on all the Customer Quality requirements including Quality claims and their follow up, visits, Customer Quality Audits and follow up, Customer Quality Manual updates, Customer Portal tracking of Quality work focused in linking the Nidec manufacturing teams with the Customer needs and window between Customer and Nidec.

II. Primarily Job Responsibilities

Responsible to receive and answer the Quality complaints :

1.1.Elaboration of Corrective Action Plan

1.2.Put together the process working teams to analyze and develop the corrective action plans

1.3.Send to customer the corrective action plan until it is closed having meetings and / or visiting it

1.4.Maintain the tracking of the Customer Quality complaints

Responsible to attend the customer visits

2.1.Schedule and support the customer visits

2.2.Capture and develop and Open Items List from the customer visits

2.3.Work with the process working team to analyze and answer the Open Items List

Responsible for Customer Quality Audits

3.1.Schedule and plan the Customer Quality Audits

3.2.Organize and keep informed the Plant from the Customer Quality Audits

3.3.Work together with QMS Mgr. to attend the Customer Quality Audits

Responsible to keep the Plant well informed about Customer Specific Requirements

4.1.Keep itself well informed about the Supplier Quality Manuals from customers

4.2.Inform about any changes and / or updates from the Supplier Quality Manuals from customers

Support the Quality performance of the Plant

5.1.Continue application of LPA’s

5.2.Apply internal Quality Audits

5.3.Report periodically the status of the Customer Quality Portals

5.4.Inform and support any Customer requirement for the Quality System certification

5.5.Report periodically to the top management about customers tracking performance

Responsibility related for environmental and safety.

6.1.Be aligned with the environmental policy as well as the environmental issues, objectives and goals that are directly involved to the position

6.2.Active participation in environmental improvement projects

6.3.Active participation in safety activities in the Plant with the EHS area

III. Competences required to perform the job (functional and interpersonal skills) :

Professional Competences :

IATF 16949 Standard knowledge, Customer Quality Portals, Quality Audit procedure, Problem Solving tools (5 Whys, 8 D’s, Ishikawa, Pareto, SPC charts analysis, 6 Sigma, Red-X, etc.)

Guidelines for auditing management systems, Nidec Quality Management System IATF16949 Quality management systems requirements for automotive production and relevant service parts and practice of Quality Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), CSR, VDA Internal Auditing, Product &T as design drawing interpretation and applicationGeneral Competences : Customer Orientation, Agility, Adaptability, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Problem Solving, Project Management, polite and work under pressure Sense of urgency and working team leadershipManagement of technical customer conflicts Third party inspection management (sorting companies)Knowledge on using basic test and measurement equipmentEnglish 80%Available to travel in and outside of the country

IV. Education :

a. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any career)

V. Work Experience :

3 years’ experience minimum having Customer Quality contacts at engineering level

VI. Certifications / Training :

Industrial Engineer or similarCertified Quality AuditorCertified in Problem Solving tools

VII. One of the responsibilities of all employees is to contribute to the conservation of the environment

VIII. Accountability and Authority of the position :

Generally responsibility as an individual contributor :

Report any Customer communication related to on customer Quality concerns analysis, reporting and tracking until it is timely closedVisit customer Plants and report commitments, findings and / or results from Quality activitiesAuthority to negotiate, accept, scrap and / or return defective material from Customer Plants Authority to stop the line when the requirement for the product or sub assembly is not met. Authority to return material from the warehouse for inspection when it is determined that the parts do not comply with the minimum specifications required by the customer or internal the lack of environmental badges to the EHS off equipment when they are not being used, includes offices if applicableAnalyze suspect parts together with the working team to develop a corrective action
