Mexico Accounts Receivable Clerk

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk , you will be responsible for payment application from customer remittances, working with the credit and the invoicing team in processing invoice / payment adjustments, voids and rebills as well as working with various other departments on miscellaneous payments received.

Specific Responsibilities include :

• Preparation of the daily deposit.
• Processing of incoming payments (EFT, Cheques, Credit Cards) in Great Plains in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Reconciliation of short and overpayments from remittance including processing adjustments and contras.
• Processing Refunds.
• Investigate unknown deposits and missing remittances.
• Maintaining monthly reporting.
• Obtaining order numbers from customer reference numbers.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

• Post-secondary education in a related field or demonstrated experience in an office environment.
• Advanced command of the English language with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry.
• Ability to manage in a multi-task environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Adaptable.
• PC skills – Windows, MS Office Suite, Great Plains accounting software.
