Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :
Supervise and lead a team of sewing operators, providing guidance, training, and support.
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company standards and objectives.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Production Management :
Plan, organize, and schedule sewing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
Allocate tasks and resources efficiently to optimize productivity.
Monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks or issues to maintain smooth operations.
Quality Assurance :
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and address defects or inconsistencies in sewing workmanship.
Implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Technical Expertise :
Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex sewing tasks.
Train team members on advanced sewing techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance.
Stay updated on the latest sewing technologies and industry trends.
Inventory and Maintenance :
Monitor and manage sewing supplies and equipment inventory.
Coordinate regular maintenance and repair of sewing machines and tools to minimize downtime.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a Sewing Expert with supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing or textile environment.

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various types of sewing machines (e.g., industrial, overlock, cover stitch).

Strong knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and sewing techniques.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling purposes.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
